The BEAR TRAX 100 Hare Scrambles scheduled for July 24, 2011 has been POSTPONED to a later date.

BIG BEAR TRAX

" The Bear Trax 100 "

Hare Scrambles

Bikes Only:

POSTPONED

The Bear Trax 100 Hare Scrambles scheduled for July 24, 2011 is postponed to a later date.

We started advertising the event in early April but it didn't reach the right media until this last week when Brad put it on Wisconsinmx forum. Thanks to Brad things are really looking up. My computer and phone have been constantly busy ever since.

With the deadline for pre-registration on July 15, 2011 and the confusion it has caused we have carefully considered the options and decided to postpone the races. From all the questions I have been reciving, I see there are several things that will need to be changed.

Matt Burton from the D-14 area has come up with an idea that could include the AA, - A, - and B classes by making this a 2 day event, with a seperate cash purse for each day. We will run the 3 races on Saturday for the 125cc and larger bikes and 3 races on Sunday for the AA, - A - and B classes. The Sunday races will run with a handicap so all the riders have an equal chance of winning.

The pre-registration checks I have received will be marked VOID and returned to the riders.

I would like to thank all you riders for your interest in these races.

Hare Scrambles are still alive and well. Please "Bear" with me.

"BEAR TRAX 100" POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE:

We have rain dates so call before you haul.

{Here's the deal. We need 100 pre-registered riders to make this event happen.}

NOW:   If 100 riders are entered  in the first race of the day, Big Bear will put up a cash purse of $1000. That will be split up at the end of the day between the 5 riders with the most accumulated laps in the least amount of time for the entire day.  If there are less than 100 riders then we can't put up the cash purse.

"Each race will also trophy through 5th place."

If 100 riders enter the event the end of the day results will pay:  1st place $500.-----2nd place $250.-----3rd place $125.-----4th place $75.-----5th place $50.

This event will consist of ( 3 ) races. Each race will be 1-1/2 hrs.  All run in one day.

Riders who are racing in a class with a higher experience and ability level than "C" class are not eligible to enter this event with the exception of  "( Seniors 50 years old and older can race in this event)".
